DD.Matts immerses himself in the essence of techno, exploring groovy and immersive sounds that blend hypnotic and dark atmospheres with raw and tribal nuances. His style is driven by deep rhythms, rolling grooves, and an intense energy, while maintaining the versatility to adapt to any dancefloor and moment.

A strong believer in underground techno culture, he founded the electronic music collective I.LEGAL to organize events that unite like-minded individuals and celebrate the true spirit of techno. Through I.LEGAL, he aims to expand the local scene and strengthen its connection to the genre’s underground roots.

DD.Matts’ journey began in his hometown, playing his signature sound at local events and gradually expanding through different venues and underground events in Barcelona, Girona, and Sri Lanka.

Over the years, he has performed in several clubs and venues across Barcelona’s underground scene, including M7 Club, Xtra Radio, Localito 3.0, and Bridge 48. He has also taken part in livestream sessions at PNC and performed in Girona at venues such as Platea Club and the legendary Rachdingue. In Sri Lanka, he played at Secret Pearl, one of the most iconic clubs in the south of the country. In addition, he has participated in events organized by different collectives from Barcelona’s underground techno community, continuously expanding his connection with the scene and its culture.

More than just mixing tracks, DD.Matts creates experiences. His goal is to connect with people and take them on an introspective journey through music, allowing them to escape reality and reconnect with themselves and their surroundings. In every set, he transmits energy, emotion, and authenticity. For him, music is more than art, it’s an endless exploration.
