AEREA is a Madrid-based electronic music duo formed in 2021 by producer Al’ and vocalist Caar, who have developed a distinctive style they describe as emotional techno. Their sound blends powerful rhythms with deep melodies and ethereal vocals, creating an intense atmosphere both in the studio and on stage. The project stands out for merging genres such as trance, hardgroove, melodic techno and schranz, resulting in a hybrid, energetic and emotionally driven style. Their live performances incorporate sung and processed vocals, adding an intimate and unique character to their shows. AEREA is also known for their carefully crafted visual identity, often filming music videos in natural landscapes to reinforce the “aerial” and spiritual concept that inspires their name. Among their most notable releases are 10.000 Flores and Amor Dulce, the latter released in 2025 and recognized for its blend of emotional techno with Spanish guitars and a romantic narrative. The duo has performed at major festivals such as Dreambeach, A Summer Story, and Medusa, as well as renowned clubs like Fabrik (Madrid) and E1 (London). Their artistic vision focuses on conveying deep and personal sensations, understanding music creation as “a conversation between arpeggios and voices” intended to connect directly with the audience.
