Yolotzin

DJ Yolotzin (David) is a creator who unites science, spirituality and music in a purposeful sonic journey. An engineer in Telecommunications, systems and electronics from UNAM, he has transferred his technical precision to the art of producing and mixing, but his true motivation goes beyond the technical: music is his tool to communicate messages and generate change in the world.

Its artistic identity is nourished by mystical and cultural symbols: the Metatron Cube as a map of universal harmony, the Nahuatl heart as an ancestral root and the firefly of Tlaxcala as a luminous guide in the darkness. These elements are reflected in its logo and visuals, creating a psychedelic and spiritual aesthetic universe.

In terms of sound, Yolotzin explores psytrance as a space of inner trance and collective communion, but also incorporates the influence of hip hop: its reflective, Protestant and extravagant character. Thus, his sets combine deep bass and hypnotic atmospheres with a background of social criticism and the search for justice.

More than entertainment, his proposal is an act of resistance and hope. Yolotzin believes in the philosophy of PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect) as the basis of electronic culture and as a vital principle. Each performance is a ritual where the music becomes a message, the track becomes a community and the experience becomes a reminder that even in the dark, there is always a guiding light.
