YÖEL

A Costa Rican DJ influenced by 90s House and club culture. YÖEL specializes in progressive energy building, elegantly transitioning between Deep House and Tech House. More than just mixing, his focus is on reading the room and creating an atmosphere of collective connection.

YÖEL understands electronic music as a language of energy and direct connection with the dancefloor. His proposal stems from the need to create moments where rhythm is not just heard, but felt, and where every transition serves a purpose within the set’s journey. From the beginning, his focus has gone beyond technique, prioritizing reading the room, crowd movement, and constructing a coherent experience.

Influenced by how 90s House moved dancefloors without gimmicks, YÖEL developed his identity across various spaces in San José. His sound has solidified into a proposal based on progression and energy control, navigating from subtle atmospheres to moments of high intensity.

Beyond the music, YÖEL conceives the dancefloor as a shared space. His goal is to foster environments where people feel free, using electronic music as a meeting point that encourages community, respect, and a different way of experiencing the night.
