Vxgue

Vxgue is a DJ and producer originally from Mexico City whose career, although brief in time, has been intense in momentum. From the beginning he explored bass music as a base language, but what really defined his sound was the decision not to stay within his borders: he fused the raw energy of death metal with electronic subgenres such as dark wave and witch house, building a proposal that does not fit in a single box and that, precisely for this reason, it is impossible to ignore.

In less than a year on the scene, Vxgue has accumulated presences in some of the most relevant events of the city's alternative and electronic circuit: Rotten Fest, Low End Takeover, Disruptive Seasons and Terror Bass are part of a stage journey that few emerging artists manage to consolidate so quickly. The turning point came when he opened the Blind Hex concert and later returned to Rotten Fest II, confirming that his place on stage was no coincidence.

His references speak of someone who built his taste with criteria: Vastive, Ghengar and Sullivan King – references that understand exactly that intersection between the electronic and the heavy – are the coordinates from which Vxgue drew his own map. Live, that influence translates into sets that mix remixes and mashups with a reading of the audience that sets it apart: it connects especially with the metal audience, that sector that does not usually find its language in conventional electronica, but that in Vxgue finds something familiar and at the same time different.
