VEJØS

VEJØS is a duo of DJs made up of two cousins: Juan Francisco Vega Aguado (Paco) and José Emiliano Mata Hernández (Emi). Both originally from León, Guanajuato. They basically grew up together and surrounded by a musical environment. Both had very similar tastes and therefore, sooner or later, the two would end up grouping together to work together and achieve the same goals. At the ages of 10 and 11, they began to venture into the world of DJing and although for them it was just a hobby, some time later it would become their profession. At only 16 years old, Emiliano began to play at parties and gatherings of his friends, while Paco continued on his own learning about music production. Some time later Emiliano made the decision to also direct his career along a path in which production was part of it and vice versa in Paco's case. Both began to get together once again to produce together or to play at parties and events. Although there was still no "official" duet agreed by both, evidently one day it was going to happen. They managed to get some dates in clubs such as "Benji" or "Fundación 1980". It was not until June 2026 that a cousin of Paco, Ricardo Aguilar (Richie) helped promote them and at that time they decided to formalize as a duo. Thus was born ̈VEJØS ̈, a name formed by Vega (Paco's first surname) and José (Emi's first name). The results of Richie's support were reflected the following month, where he himself would be supporting the opening of a club/bar called TopDown. Its opening time was very brief, however, it was a great opportunity for Paco and Emi to make their way and gain experience with the nightclub public. Days later came dates in places like Guanajuato Grill where VEJØS was in charge of the warm up and Armario Soundroom, another very popular club in the city of León. They are currently active and working together to release their first track and be able to present it in the next shows.
