Uriah

Uriel Cuevas, born in Barcelona in 1986. He started in the clubber world very early (at the age of 14). He began to soak up artists such as Sideral, Luke Slater, Laurent Garnier and there he discovered that his life had to revolve around electronic music. When the time came to decide his future and his studies at the age of 18, he opted to graduate as a Sound Technician at the Microfusa school in Barcelona in the specialty of Direct Sound. Later, he graduated as a Professional Dj/Producer at the SonoPro school. There he learns to perform live with Ableton, control all DJ equipment, A&H mixing consoles, Pioneer, Rane, Vestax, Model1 etc, controllers, turntables, CDJs, hardware... For many years he has been perfecting his technique and mastering many styles such as Techno, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Deep House, Soulful, House, PsyTrance, Hard Techno/Schranz, Funky, Disco, Italodisco...

Resident for several years at the Modular and Deeptuesday parties at City Hall Barcelona, as well as being the sound technician of the room for 3 years. After earning a small niche in Barcelona's clubbing, he became part of the team of The Garage of the Bass Valley (L'Hospitalet), where for 5 years he was in charge of running the sound and the residence of the venue. After checking his expertise behind the decks, and they sign him as a teacher of the DJ courses at the same school The Bass Valley. With the arrival of the new owners to The Garage room, he is contacted by the Input High Fidelity Dance Club, where he is currently in charge of managing the sound of the room with his imposing Funktion One sound system, considered the best sound in all of Barcelona.
