Toba

Toba is an Argentine DJ and producer based in Costa Rica. Quiet and focused away from the booth, he becomes a different presence when playing. His sets are energetic, unpredictable and built to turn any dance floor into a real party. Toba moves easily between house, indie dance and afro house. He mixes unexpected tracks, creates sharp turns and keeps the dance floor on edge. He is not interested in playing one safe sound all night. He likes contrast, explosive drops and the moment when the room completely lets go. He is at his best during main and closing sets, where he can push harder, take risks and work with the energy in the room.

His highlights include Ocaso Festival, DreamseaSonica and Burning Man, where he played at several camps and aboard an art car. He also plays regularly at private, invite-only events. Different settings. Different crowds. His goal is always the same: make it a night people talk about.

Toba is focused on refining his mixing and developing his sound as a producer. His latest releases include “Glitter on My Teeth” on HEADONISM Records, and “Don’t Put It on Me” and “My Tribe” on Exx Underground. “Don’t Put It on Me” reached number 60 on the Beatport Indie Dance chart.
