TIERRA VIVA MUSIC began its journey on August 22, 2010 in Bejuma, Venezuela, quickly consolidating itself as one of the most solid proposals of Reggae, Dancehall and Fusion in the central region of the country. What began as a large-format project transformed over the years into a sonic brotherhood capable of projecting a message of unity and consciousness through organic rhythms and deep lyrics. During its first stage, the band conquered highly demanding stages such as the New Bands Festival at the Montes de Oca circuit in Valencia, the Venezuela Off Road Festival and iconic presentations at the Teatro Bar venues in both Valencia and Caracas. Key moments of connection with their roots were their outstanding participation in the Bejuma Fairs with SELECTOR COCOMAN, and their presentation at the Simón Rodríguez University (Núcleo Canoabo), where they shared the stage with the national references DESORDEN PÚBLICO. The point of transcendence in his national career occurred in November 2015, during his historic participation in the SUENA CARACAS festival. In the emblematic Plaza Diego Ibarra, TIERRA VIVA MUSIC represented Venezuelan reggae in a day of international magnitude, sharing events and stage with global legends such as ALBOROSIE, KY-MANI MARLEY, SIZZLA KALONJI and GONDWANA. These experiences cemented their reputation as a high-level group, capable of sustaining the vibration in front of massive audiences and alongside the greatest exponents of the genre worldwide. Starting in 2016, due to the complex migratory situation, the members of the band settled in different latitudes, connecting Colombia, Chile and Spain. After a period of personal and artistic maturation in the diaspora, the founding nucleus decided to resume the project in 2025. What began as a nostalgia-driven recording with the single "TU MIRADA", quickly evolved into a definitive professional return. Currently, the band operates as a powerful trio made up of MIKE HERRERA on vocals, JOSE "EL GORDO" MONTENEGRO on drums and VICTOR "ALKHAZAR" HERRERA on guitar, also with the collaboration of top-level guest musicians. With a sound identity that pays tribute to BOB MARLEY's roots and draws on contemporary influences from references such as MORODO, GENTLEMAN, ALBOROSIE and GONDWANA, TIERRA VIVA MUSIC has transformed geographical distance into a creative fortress. His current music is a bridge between the experience of exile and the hope of reunion, achieving a mature fusion that resonates with global audiences. Fully focused on the production of new material and planning a tour of Latin America, the band reaffirms its commitment to reggae as a tool for transformation and cultural resistance.
