Tomas Dominguez, born in November 1985 known as Thom Musiikkia, began his journey in electronic music at the age of 16, when he acquired his first DJ equipment. Self-taught from the beginning, he entered the world of vinyl, perfecting his technique based on long hours of practice. For years, vinyl was his main tool until he decided to embrace the digital age, exploring new technologies and adapting to different controllers throughout his career. Over the years, he has maintained a deep connection to techno, a genre that has always inspired him and to which he has remained faithful. Recently, his musical exploration has led him to immerse himself in the most danceable sounds of tech house, always looking for new ways to connect with his audience and evolve in his style. Although his passion for music has always been more than a hobby, Thom Musiikkia has maintained his activity mainly in his own creative space, which he calls his "laboratory". Here, he has dedicated countless hours to perfecting his technique and exploring new combinations of sounds, always inspired by the great references of techno such as Ben Sims, Pepo and Cristian Varela, with the latter he had the great opportunity to be able to train. The old school of techno has been a constant source of inspiration for him, helping him develop his signature and unique style. While he has maintained his activity in the privacy of his laboratory, his perseverance and dedication have led him to an exciting new project, "The Rhythm Laboratory". This program, in collaboration with Techno Room, promises to be a platform where you can share your vision of techno and tech house, connecting with a wider audience and taking your passion for music to new horizons.
