Streichelmolle

Streichelmolle is a Kassel-based DJ with a distinct focus on baile funk, jersey club, and hip-hop. Their sets are defined by fast-paced, rhythm-driven transitions, percussive energy, and a strong sensitivity to dancefloor dynamics. Blending international club sounds with playful edits, Streichelmolle creates a sonic experience that is both driving and unpredictable. As part of the queer scene, Streichelmolle mainly operates within community-centered environments, placing importance on creating spaces where people can express themselves freely, safely, and collectively. Their musical practice is closely tied to a broader ethos: the club as a space for expression, connection, and empowerment. Alongside DJing, Streichelmolle takes on a leading organizational role, being primarily responsible for the event format Donner*Clitchen as well as the exhibition Creatures of the Night. This work brings together curatorial vision and community engagement, with a focus on queer perspectives, diverse lineups, and an atmosphere that is both hedonistic and mindful.
