Full bio

Carlos González, known as Sharigrama, is a pioneering figure in Mexico’s electronic music scene with over three decades of artistic evolution.

He began in 1988 as a drummer in the underground rock scene, playing in bands like Krameroth, Dashboard, X-Voo Doo, 2014, Mayan, La Secta Ninja, 900 Grados, and No More Sapiens, while also teaching at Yamaha School. In 2000, he transitioned into electronic music, leading to the birth of Sharigrama in 2004 — a solo project blending Psychedelic Trance and Deep Raw Techno.

Sharigrama has performed at major festivals across Mexico, South America, Europe, and Israel, releasing five albums and over 100 international tracks. In 2007, Carlos founded Interface Records México, supporting global electronic artists.

Today, his sound is deeper and more experimental: forest, dark, glitch, and tech psytrance, released via Interface Records and Adhara Records (Canada). He has also launched into deep raw techno with his debut album "Automaton Groove", released by Infused Sound (Canada).

A dedicated educator, Carlos has taught Music Production and DJ Set at ENAM and ARSCITE. He holds a degree in Audio Engineering (ENAM, 2011) and is currently studying Pianist, Composer, and Arranger.

A multidisciplinary artist, he studied Technical Painting at Escuela Goya (1997) and comes from a family of artists, including his grandfather, Carlos González Fuentes. He has composed for theater, film, and advertising, founding Audiospot.

Working 16 hours a day, 365 days a year, his mission is clear: a permanent world tour, making Sharigrama a proud voice of Mexican electronic music.
