SAN CASTRI

SAN CASTRI is an Argentine DJ and producer born in Buenos Aires, whose career since 2015 has established him within the country's techno scene.

His musical background is shaped by the influence of Detroit techno and German trance, a blend that defined his early years in the underground circuit. He has performed at iconic clubs such as Cocoliche, Bahrain, UnderClub, and Esvedra, among many others, sharing the booth with both national and international artists while developing a performance style that is energetic, precise, and always focused on the mental and physical journey of the dancefloor.

In recent years, his sound has shown a clear evolution: moving from a raw, urban approach to a more refined and intentional aesthetic, where atmospheres, melodic progressions, and deeper narrative coexist without losing the techno essence that defines him. His releases on Music Rec marked a shift toward a cleaner, more functional sound, with tighter low-end and a direction clearly aimed at the dancefloor. Later, through his releases on Rosario Groove Records, SAN CASTRI explored more hypnotic layers, spatial textures, and a more minimal yet powerful groove, demonstrating a clear maturity in his production.

Currently, his work on Mustache Crew Records consolidates this evolution: a melodic and atmospheric techno style—intense yet elegant—where cosmic elements, progressive arpeggios, and minimal techno energy coexist in balance. His sonic identity feels more personal than ever: powerful without being aggressive, melodic without becoming commercial, dark without losing sensitivity. Each new SAN CASTRI release reflects an ongoing process of refinement—more intention, more detail, and greater control over dancefloor dynamics. His music now moves between emotional depth and the undeniable pulse of the club, positioning him as an artist in full consolidation within contemporary Argentine techno.
