Rubenigue

Rubenigue is a DJ from Bilbao with deep roots in alternative music culture. His journey began in 1993 on his school's FM radio, where he learned to mix music with simple means but an overflowing passion. In 1998 he made the professional leap with his first mixer and two turntables, and since then he has built a style that mixes the groove of house and the precision of minimal, always with a 100% underground essence. His connection with music goes beyond the booths: thanks to it, Rubenigue found the strength to overcome lymphoma, turning each session into a celebration of life. He does not seek fame or the ego of the stage, but the authentic connection with the audience and music as a space of peace, freedom and resistance.
