RAYET

Leonel Corrales, artistically known as RAYET, is a 28-year-old DJ and producer from Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut. His artistic career began in 2016 as a self-taught artist, initially driven by his interest in sounds linked to house and minimal techno.

During his early years he developed a deeply personal relationship with music, dedicating much of his time to discovering new sounds, styles and forms of expression. This process of constant exploration progressively shaped his artistic identity and laid the foundations for a sound of his own.

In 2019 he took a new step in his training by taking two DJ courses at Arjaus, an experience that complemented his self-taught learning and allowed him to deepen his technical and professional tools. That same year he moved to Cordoba, where he began to perform on different stages, both at his own events and on dates for which he was summoned, progressively consolidating his identity behind the trays.

Throughout his tour he shared a booth with artists such as Eduvek, Ulises Micieli, Koda and 9nine, among others, and was building a presence within the electronic scene. He is currently a resident of Teksoul, a renowned techno cycle of Comodoro Rivadavia, and Kilombo. In addition, he develops his own artistic platform and label, Fuerte Records.

RAYET's sound is characterized by its solidity and a particular ability to build and transform atmospheres. Their proposal takes elements of techno, acid and bass, with a strong prominence of groove, but without limiting itself to the borders of a specific genre.

Their sets are built from contrast: moments of tension that lead to explosions of energy, hypnotic passages that coexist with euphoric sections and unexpected changes that keep the audience in constant movement. The result is a dynamic, emotional and difficult to predict experience, where the musical selection and the reading of the track become tools to take the audience through different states.

Rather than being pigeonholed into a style, RAYET seeks to build a recognizable sonic identity: intense, atmospheric, euphoric and mysterious, with groove as one of its main points of connection with the track.
