Raúl MD is a DJ from Valladolid with 10 years of experience dedicated to techno. His musical proposal is born from the connection between the oldschool essence and the energy of today's sound, maintaining a defined, forceful and faithful identity to the underground culture.

His vision of techno is built from the combination of different generations of the genre, recovering the essence of its roots and connecting it with contemporary sounds. A musical philosophy in which selection, technique and personality play a fundamental role.

Their sound moves between dry, forceful, groove and industrial techno. A combination in which rhythmic pressure, hypnotic elements and a progressive evolution coexist that allows sessions to be developed with their own character and personality.

TRAJECTORY IN THE CABIN

Throughout his career, Raúl MD has performed in different venues and musical spaces, including Náutico, Bitacora, Apya, Equus, Fame, Platform, Sala el Duende, La trinchera, Moss Club.....

His experience in the booth has contributed to developing his own musical identity, based on careful selection, mixing technique and the construction of sessions with a defined progression. His approach combines respect for the roots of techno with a current vision, maintaining tension, groove and forcefulness as fundamental elements of his proposal.

In each session he seeks to maintain a recognizable line, adapting the musical development to the context and energy of the track without losing the essence that defines his sound.

DJ TRAINING

Her technical training has been developed through different stages of learning with professionals in the sector.

At Raza Records he took a 100% vinyl DJ course taught by Sergio Parrado, an experience focused on working with records and traditional mixing technique.

Subsequently, he expanded his knowledge at Indigo School with Sergei Rez and continued his technical development through an advanced DJ course at TechnoRoom, taught by Cristian Varela.

This training complements his experience in the booth and reflects his interest in perfecting technique, delving into vinyl culture and continuing to evolve musically.

NEW STAGE: MUSICAL PRODUCTION

Currently, Raúl MD is expanding his artistic identity through music production, transferring his vision as a DJ to the field of his own creation.

Working with Ableton Live, virtual synthesizers, sound design, basses and rhythmic programming, he begins to develop his own structures and compositions. This new stage represents an opportunity to delve into the elements that characterize his sessions and build a personal sound language.

The production is a natural evolution of his career: going from selecting and combining music to creating his own sounds, developing original ideas and exploring new possibilities within techno.

With an eye on the future, Raúl MD continues to work on the consolidation of his musical identity, maintaining as pillars the respect for underground culture, the connection with vinyl and the search for techno with character, punch and personality.
