POLVRIS

Jean Paul Bariñan, also known as POLVRIS (Polaris), is a Filipino music producer and DJ from the Philippines. At a young age, Paul immersed himself in the vast world of Electronic Dance Music. Influenced by his brother, he began DJing at just 10 years old. In 2019, Paul decided to become a music producer, honing his EDM production skills while drawing inspiration from idols such as Martin Garrix and Hardwell.

Building on this foundation, 2021 and 2022 marked a key era for his career as he began officially releasing tracks through various local EDM record labels in the Philippines. These releases solidified his reputation within the national scene, showcasing a refined sound that balanced high-energy festival vibes with technical precision.

In November 2022, seeking greater creative autonomy and a way to shape the future of the local industry, POLVRIS partnered with DJ Chanz to launch Orion Recordings. As a private record label, Orion Recordings serves as a dedicated platform for their unique musical visions, allowing them to bridge the gap between the local dance scene and the global stage. Through this venture, Paul has evolved from a student of the genre into a label head, actively contributing to the evolution of electronic music in the country.

In 2026, POLVRIS is officially ready to take his music to a live audience. After years of developing his sound in the studio, he is now prepared to perform at clubs, festivals, and various events, marking an important step forward in his career.

By moving from the studio to the DJ booth, Paul is set to share the high-energy sound of Orion Recordings directly with the crowd. With over ten years of technical experience and a library of original tracks, he is fully equipped to start performing live and begin this next chapter of his musical journey.
