Patella

Patella is a DJ and producer from Ōtautahi, New Zealand, crafting deep, groove-driven house, minimal and techno shaped by rolling percussion, hypnotic rhythms and subtle textures. Their sound balances stripped-back minimalism with warm, organic energy, drawing influence from artists such as Traumer, Silat Beksi, Liquid Earth and Demuir.

With releases on Microtonal Records, twominds Records, Rays Records, Club Unique and Turquoise Records, Patella has built a reputation for carefully curated sets that move effortlessly between intimate clubs, warehouse parties and festival stages. Whether playing original productions or digging for overlooked records, the focus remains the same: creating long-form journeys that prioritise groove, patience and connection over spectacle.
