Oswald Little: Roots, Technical Evolution and the Legacy of Rhythm

Born in Caracas on May 2, 2000, the story of Oswald Little (stage name of this Venezuelan DJ and producer) is intrinsically linked to music from its first heartbeats. Raised in a humble home based on solid principles and a constant instinct to excel, Oswald discovered his vocation at the early age of 5. Inspired by the figure of his father —musician and DJ—, he quickly began to stand out in local presentations, becoming a young promise of the scene.

His artistic hunger led him in 2014 to explore musical instruments in a self-taught way; without having any resources or instruments of his own, he managed to master the bass and guitar. This deep understanding of musical structure and his versatility of genres opened the doors for him in the urban scene, where he became a reference for various exponents thanks to his fine aesthetic criteria.

After a period of pause on stage between 2020 and 2025, Oswald decided to shield his talent from academia, immersing himself in the studies of Computer Engineering, Audio and Sound Engineering, and Music Production. This solid technical foundation paved the way for his final return in 2026. Under the pseudonym Oswald Little – a tribute in English to the diminutive "Oswaldito", the name by which his father, who died in 2013, was known – the artist returns to consoles not only as an act of reinvention, but as a spiritual reunion and a tribute to his greatest inspiration.

Their current sound identity moves with sophistication within electronic music, having as its main axis Indie Dance, the freshness of Tech House and the complexity of the most elaborate Afro House. Influenced by the sound of references such as Brunello, Miguelle & Tons, Freenzy Music, Dali and AfroKillerz, his proposal stands out for its rhythmic richness and impeccable technical precision.
