ØSLAND

ØSLAND, stage name of Víctor Osornio Landeros, is a DJ and producer originally from Querétaro, Mexico, whose project was born from a simple idea: to use music as a space to disconnect from the outside world and find oneself again.

Their sound moves between indie dance, house, tech house, techno, bass house and melodic house & techno, without seeking to remain within a single label. Their sets are built from dynamic grooves and basses, percussions, melodies and tension, combining hypnotic and emotional moments with explosions of energy that take the audience from less to more. Rather than pursuing a defined genre, ØSLAND seeks to progressively build a sound language of its own.

Víctor's relationship with music began at a very young age. At the age of 10 or 11 he had his first approaches to a controller and, years later, he began to explore the world of DJing through EDM and the big stages that inspired him. During that stage the name ØSLAND was also born, a combination of his surnames Osornio and Landeros that he began using as a personal identity long before becoming his artistic project. The name stayed with him for years until he finally found his place in music.

His musical evolution took him from wanting to produce great EDM hits to a more personal search, exploring the strength of techno and tech house kicks and basses along with melodies, leads and pads capable of generating nostalgia, expectation and euphoria. Two years ago he decided to take his production to a professional level and began his training at El Bedroom, in Mexico City, where he continues to develop his language as a producer.

For ØSLAND, a set doesn't end when the music stops playing. Their goal is to build an emotional journey: to make people dance, to generate tension, to release energy and finally reach that moment when the audience can look inside and remember that, despite fatigue, problems or whatever is happening off the floor, they are still here. They are still alive. And they are not alone in what they feel.

That same vision extends outside the booth. ØSLAND develops its project around music, content and experiences, collaborating with artists and collectives on the scene while exploring new ways of bringing music closer to people. Within this universe it also begins to relate to **AVYREN**, an independent audiovisual project focused on documenting and creating new experiences around the culture of events and electronic music.

Currently, ØSLAND is in a stage of construction and evolution: developing his first original productions, preparing his first EP and starting to take his music to new stages and labels. His goal is not only to grow as a DJ and producer, but to build a project capable of connecting with the public, supporting other artists and bringing something new to the scene.

For ØSLAND, going far doesn't mean going it alone. It means growing, learning, collaborating and taking more people with you.
