NWHR’s sound is influenced by artists including Rampa, Adam Port, Black Coffee, Disclosure, Ben Böhmer, Monolink, Elderbrook and Hugel, while continuing to develop into a style of his own. His productions explore the space between groove and atmosphere, combining organic percussion, hypnotic basslines, emotive melodies and vocal-driven moments designed for the dancefloor.
As a DJ, NWHR has performed across Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Goa and Chennai, appearing at clubs, private events and curated music experiences. His performances are designed to be dynamic rather than genre-restricted, moving between Afro House, House, Latin influences, Melodic House and electronic club music depending on the setting and audience.
Alongside his original productions, NWHR has developed a growing catalogue of remixes and independent releases, including his interpretations of tracks such as Elderbrook’s “Numb,” “Sweet Disposition” and Sammy Virji’s “If You Need It.” His own productions, including “Salvaje” and the Arabic-influenced Afro House track “Nar and Nuru,” reflect his interest in bringing different cultural influences into contemporary electronic music.
Now expanding his presence internationally, NWHR is taking his sound from Mumbai towards London and the wider European electronic music scene. With a focus on club culture, collaboration and continuous musical development, he is building an identity that connects the energy of India’s growing electronic scene with the sounds and spaces shaping dance music globally.
For NWHR, the focus is simple: music that moves people physically, emotionally and collectively.
