Originally from Caen, Normandy, France, Nico Moreno has quickly established himself as one of the most respected and acclaimed artists on the contemporary techno scene. Specializing in the darkest and most forceful sounds, he has led the new wave of artists who have brought hard techno and industrial techno back to the forefront of global electronic music. Moreno's musical style is an assault on the senses: his sets are characterized by soaring tempos that often exceed 150 BPM, distorted kick drums, raw percussion, and acid synthesizer lines that create hypnotic atmospheres. Influenced by the rave culture of the 90s, he has managed to update that raw sound with a modern and impeccable production.
