Born and raised in Brussels, Nessø developed an interest in music at a young age, surrounded by the love of music in his home. In 2009, Nessø attended his first music festival and got the chance to see Tiesto performing live - at this moment, he had an epiphany and knew that one day, he’ll be on stage too. Following this goal, he learned online and graduated from SAE Institute in Brussels, where he learned how to produce music - adding a technical aspect in his work. DJ since 2013 and music producer since 2014, Nessø developed his style throughout the years. He was heavily influenced by Swedish House Mafia, and gradually discovered new scenes, sounds and artists like Tchami, Malaa, or Porter Robinson, to name a few. While he mostly produces Bass House, G-House, Tech House and Bass music in general, he doesn’t let himself get stuck in a genre and is always keen on trying new sounds. Music evolves, and so does Nessø. Early in his career, Nessø had the opportunity to mix live in a couple of festivals, clubs, private parties, bars and shared the stage with Big names in the industry like Nicky Romero, Yves V, Wolfpack, Michael Calfan, or La Fuente. He also had the chance to perform live in Ireland, where he was living for 4 years from 2018 to 2022. Ireland is also the place where he rekindled his love for producing - could it be an inspiration from a missing electronic music scene in Cork, where he was living? As COVID hit in 2020, Nessø sensed he needed to take this difficult time to his advantage - he then decided to take control over his music and focus on his musical journey, his inspirations, his brand. He had the time and the passion, and that was a great start. While he kept sharing his passion of performing live and entertaining people by releasing filmed mixes during lockdowns, Nessø got the help of a Canadian mentor to get better at mixing and mastering his tracks. This was then the start of a new chapter for him. In 2021, Nessø got the support from Nicky Romero on his track ‘My House’, as he was reviewed in Romero’s first Twitch demo drop. Later that year, his collaboration with KNNY called ‘WCYM’ was released on From The Hood, and supported by Malaa on his Who Is Malaa 27 mix as a premier of the track. In 2022, he achieved one of his biggest goals: releasing a track on Tchami’s imprint label Confession. ‘Free Your Mind’ is a collaboration track done with Valy Mo, who remixed Nessø’s ‘My House’. The track got the support from big names in the industry such as David Guetta, Tiësto, Don Diablo, Tchami, Fedde Le Grand, Plastik Funk, or Borgore. And his work continued to get noticed. After the huge success of ‘Free Your Mind’, Nessø reached yet another milestone by counting more than a million streams worldwide on Spotify for his solo track Generatiøn, which has been very popular in Latin America, with Mexico as the city where it was streamed the most. In 2023, Nessø decided to quit his IT job in Ireland and moved back to Brussels. Eager to follow his dreams and dedicate everything to his music goal, he is now working full-time on his music as there is no question anymore on what he wants to do. One thing is certain: it’s only started, and the future looks bright for Nessø
