Moyua

Moyua (Tolosa, Gipuzkoa) has been in electronic music since 1999. He started playing in a squat and in the bars of his town, and from there he has been building his own style around hardgroove: rolling percussion, kick as an anchor and a tension that does not drop throughout the session. His roots range from trance, hardhouse and bumping to punk, rock, funk and soul, and that mix is noticeable in a very simple idea of the booth: the dance floor does not stop.

He won a DJ championship in the Basque Country and, as a producer, his track Bully with Johanna Dark on Óscar Escapa's Rawness label reached the Top 5 sales on Beatport. He has been releasing since 2021 on Mazzinga Records, Rawness, Maskerade (by Lander B) and Black Turtle Records, with the support of artists such as Yellowheads, Óscar Escapa, T78, Peerk and Deas, and is among the 155 best producers in the world according to Beatstats.

He was a member and resident of Altera Collective and maintains a monthly residency in Techno.FM (Holland) through the program Dungeon Signals, of which he starred in episode 500. In 2026 NODIVADJS dedicated episode #924 of their radio show to him and Encore Nature recorded a one-hour Office Set with him at their headquarters.

In the booth his range goes from 135 to 145 BPM and, whenever he can, he plays with timecode vinyl. He has worked for Kremlin (Bilbao), Komplot (Donostia), Sala Tunk (Irun), Sala Record (Bilbao), Erreka (Errenteria). He produces at Ableton Live 12 and is in charge of the mixing and mastering of his songs himself.
