German–Namibian Artist, Producer/Dj, media practitioner and Creative from Windhoek, Namibia, now based in Berlin. I have a wide-ranging practice across music, radio, theatre, film, and other mediums. My music blends contemporary Afro-Hip-Hop with decolonial and anti-apartheid themes.
I co-composed the soundtrack for Baxu and the Giants, the first Namibian film on Netflix, highlighting the issue of rhino poaching in Africa, earning a nomination for “Best Sound” at the Namibian Theatre and Film Awards. At the National Theatre of Namibia, I worked as a sound engineer as well as producing soundscapes for a wide range of productions, including the adaptation of the life of John Muafangejo.
After completing my Bachelors degree in ‘Journalism and Media Technology’ at the ‘Namibian University of Science and Technology’ I starting working for NBC Funkhaus Namibia, the only state funded german speaking radio station in all of Africa. There I contribute as an international correspondent and youth editor, operating at the intersection of entertainment and politics and host a Jazz show. Beyond these roles, I am a DJ and performer known for distinctive sets, including one performed in a hot air balloon over the Namib desert.
