Montero is a Peruvian DJ and producer based in Santiago. Since he was a child he was linked to art and the stage. His mother is a professional ballet dancer, so he grew up very close to theater and classical music. At the age of 6 he began to play guitar and later he was part of a rock band, maintaining a close relationship with music since he was a child.
About eight years ago he discovered the electronic scene and began to explore different genres, attend festivals and meet DJs from whom he learned different ways of understanding, curating and mixing music. That journey was forming a large part of his musical criteria and the way he selects music and mixes today.
In 2025 he decided to bring that relationship with electronics to the booth and began mixing, developing a sound that today moves between Tech House, Deep Tech and House. His selection is marked by percussive elements, basses with weight and a rolling feel, also incorporating complementary textures such as acid, synths and risers. Groove works as the basis of his sets, playing with hypnosis, tension and moments of euphoria.
He has played at Club Dominga, Club Ámbar and Sala Mistral of Club La Feria, as well as different events in Santiago. He has shared the booth with Gianpy, SangreChina, Paip Kings, Delamaza, Chester and J.Pe Bruna, among other DJs from the scene in Chile and Peru.
He is co-founder of Velvet Theater together with Gianpy and SangreChina, a project that seeks to bring to the eastern sector of Santiago a fresh proposal of electronic, party and euphoric music, but maintaining an elegant aesthetic. From there he participates both from the music and from the creative part, working on the visual identity, the atmosphere and the scenic elements of each date.
At the same time, he develops his facet as a producer, seeking to bring to his own tracks the elements that most represent him when he mixes and continue building his own sound both in the booth and in production.
