MonK

MonK (ES) is a Spanish DJ and producer focused on electronic music. His first release came from Kloos with "Drowning in Your Eyes", a melodic house song that marked the beginning of his path as a producer. Since then, his sound has evolved towards a mixture of house, deep house and tech house, styles in which he finds the space to develop his way of understanding music.

He began his DJ career 6 years ago, DJing for all kinds of events (weddings, birthdays, patron saint parties, discos, pubs...) all kinds of music, but maintaining a space for what he had always liked, electronic music. Little by little he specialized and focused on the music he wanted to play, until he ended up dedicating himself solely to it. He started with afro house and melodic house, and continued until he finally found house and tech house. He spends a lot of time specializing in sound depending on the type of venue and event in which he performs, as well as the slot in which he works.

Since then, he has gone through different venues, parties and events, including sessions at R.E.M. and Spot.Parties, in addition to his participation in festivals such as Observatorio Festival. He is also part of the INTED school, where he began to produce and collaborate with them, setting the scene for dinners in restaurants such as the Sushita Café. This experience has allowed him to develop in different environments and continue developing his facet as a DJ, always with electronic music as the main axis.

His sessions and productions are supported by groove-laden rhythms, rhythmic vocals and round, forceful basses, the kind that you can feel in the chest and give body to the dance floor. He is looking for music that maintains the rhythm and the desire to dance, in which each element has its place and the groove is the protagonist. His sound combines the energy of tech house with the nuances of house and deep house, with a musical selection designed to connect with the audience and keep the dance floor alive.
