MONIA (PA)

Moises is a Panama based DJ and producer operating at the intersection of groove, atmosphere, and emotional storytelling. His sound, released under the alias Monia, draws from indie dance, melodic house, and hypnotic techno, creating music that is as introspective as it is functional on the dancefloor.

Rather than chasing formulas, his approach is rooted in building worlds. Tracks evolve patiently, driven by rhythm and subtle tension, where groove comes first and emotion follows. His work often reflects a duality, raw grounded percussion paired with luminous melodic elements, creating a balance between darkness and light.

Influenced by underground club culture and personal narrative, Moises treats each production as a journey rather than a tool. This philosophy translates into extended arrangements and dynamic progressions designed for storytelling within DJ sets.

Beyond music, his background in architecture and design informs his creative process, bringing structure, spatial awareness, and intention into how his tracks are constructed and experienced.

Currently refining his sound and expanding his catalog, Moises is positioning himself within a new wave of artists focused on depth, identity, and long term artistic relevance over short term trends.
