NIKO TIME

NIKO TIME is a Chilean-born DJ, percussionist and electronic music artist based in New Zealand. With 35 years of musical experience, his background spans classical violin and more than 12 years of Afro-Latin percussion, shaping a distinctive approach to electronic music centred on rhythm, groove and movement.

His sound moves across Afro-Latin House, Tribal Driving Techno, Hard Groove, Jungle, Drum & Bass, Garage, 140 and Dubstep. His performances combine DJing with live electronic percussion, bringing a physical and organic element to the dancefloor.

NIKO TIME is also an active figure in Wellington's underground electronic scene, having co-founded projects including Vortek and Jungle Juice. His current artistic direction focuses on developing a unique live DJ and percussion performance, connecting Latin rhythmic heritage with contemporary underground electronic music.
