Mixina

THE PROJECT: A DREAM DOCTRINE From a place of swampy terrain and bats comes the Dark-synth-pop of the Valencian Mixina. They are worshippers of the apocalyptic doctrine of horror films, neon lights, and psychotropic synthesizers. Her music combines dark atmospheres and synthesized sounds with Vanesa's sensual voice, which illuminates each track with a unique melodic presence. Each single they release is usually accompanied by their own video clip, conceived and made by themselves, because – as they say – "it is the most complete way to express our most disturbing dreams". This DIY philosophy allows Mixina to control every frame of her imagery, transforming personal obsessions into pieces of audiovisual art that expand the meaning of her compositions.
