MILO, stage name of Emilio Espinosa, is a DJ based in Mallorca with a musical proposal built from versatility, energy and a clear connection with the dance floor. His identity is based on house and moves naturally between different aspects of electronic music such as deep house, tech house and minimal deep tech, allowing him to adapt each session to the space, the moment and the audience without losing his own artistic line.
For MILO, music does not understand rigid labels. His selection is born from the constant search for sounds that generate movement and connection, combining different textures, grooves and energy levels to build sessions that evolve organically. This breadth of styles allows him to perform both in deeper and more immersive environments and in sessions oriented to a more intense track, always with the aim of maintaining a musical narrative and a recognizable identity.
His career is closely linked to the electronic scene in Mallorca, where he has been developing his presence behind the booth and building an increasingly solid relationship with the public. Throughout his career he has passed through different spaces and stages on the island, highlighting BCM & Titos, Selva Club, Sala Wave, Brooklyn Club and El Barbero... being part of different proposals and events within the Mallorcan electronic circuit.
Each of these experiences has contributed to defining his way of understanding the booth. For MILO, DJing is not only about selecting a succession of tracks, but also about interpreting what is happening in front of him and responding musically to each moment. Reading the track, the ability to adapt and the progressive construction of energy are fundamental elements of his proposal.
Throughout his career, MILO has also had the opportunity to share a booth with different artists from the electronic scene, expanding his experience and being part of a constantly evolving musical environment. These experiences have allowed him to move through different formats and audiences, from more intimate sessions to club contexts where the energy of the dance floor becomes the main point of connection.
His tour also includes participations and sessions linked to Ibiza Sonica Radio and ANTS: Next Gen, experiences that reflect his connection with the electronic music environment of the Balearic Islands and with a scene that has historically been an international point of reference for club culture.
In addition to his activity as a DJ, MILO develops a creative facet through his MILO Retouch. In these works he reinterprets different tracks from his own perspective, seeking to provide a personal reading and transfer each piece to a terrain that connects with his musical identity and his way of understanding the track.
Among his works are Chris Lattner – "So He Finally..." (MILO Retouch), Kidoo – "Remedio (Brothers & Sisters)" (MILO Retouch) and Amarno & Franky Rizardo – "I'm Feeling Alright (Is Mentira)" (MILO Retouch). These works show his interest in exploring different sounds and bringing his own approach to productions that are part of his musical universe.
Versatility is, precisely, one of the elements that best defines MILO. His selection can range from deep and enveloping sounds to more rhythmic and forceful proposals, depending on the needs of each session. House works as a starting point, but his proposal is not limited to a single sound: deep house, tech house and minimal deep tech are part of a musical spectrum that allows him to create different atmospheres and adapt to different moments of a night.
This freedom when selecting music is also reflected in their way of understanding the evolution of a session. MILO seeks to ensure that each set has a journey, avoiding that the music is simply a succession of songs and betting on a progressive experience in which the groove, energy and response of the audience lead the way.
From Mallorca, he continues to develop his artistic project and consolidate his identity within the electronic scene of the Balearic Islands. His activity combines experience in the booth, the creation of MILO Retouch and his participation in different spaces and platforms linked to electronic music.
With an open and constantly evolving vision, MILO maintains a simple philosophy: music should generate a real connection with the track. Every session is different and every audience requires a different reading, but the goal remains: to create a moment, build an atmosphere and get the music to speak for itself.
Her project continues to grow from Mallorca, with her sights set on new scenarios, new connections and new ways to continue developing her own musical identity within the electronic scene.
