For Midele, music is less about staying inside the lines and more about finding the perfect frequency for the moment. His approach to sound is a unique blend of academic precision and raw, emotional experimentation—a journey that began when he was playing the drums and sing on the notes of Radiohead during his youth in Florence and that continued in Rome, where he spent four years (2016–2020) mastering the craft of Sound Engineering and music production at Saint Louis College of music.
This technical foundation took a transformative turn during a 5 months chapter at the Universitet i Agder (UiA) in Norway. Studying under electronic maestro and Brian Eno collaborator Jan Bang, Midele moved beyond the knobs and faders to discover the "human" element of electronic music: the beauty of imperfection and the power of pure experimentation.
In 2021, he landed in Copenhagen for a residency at the renowned Millfactory Studios. There, he spent months recording everything from jazz ensembles to the haunting Scandinavian horns for Robert Eggers’ film The Northman. While he loved the technicality of the studio, the call of the dancefloor was inevitable. In January 2023, he made his DJ debut at Culture Box, sparking a non-stop trajectory through the Danish underground scene.
Midele treats genres like layers of a cake—he doesn't care much for the labels, as long as the taste is right. To him, genres aren't boxes; they are just different tools to tell a story.
On the floor: He is known for high-energy techno, raising the BPM without ever sacrificing atmospheric depth or emotional impact.
In the studio: He pivots effortlessly between driving club tracks and vulnerable ambient ballads, using lyrics and melody whenever he has something deep he has the urge to share with the world.
Whether he’s playing a peak-time set or producing a stripped-back track, his philosophy remains the same: a total commitment to vulnerability and ensuring every performance is a shared emotional experience.
His work has quickly garnered respect from industry heavyweights. With his latest release "Get Lost" arriving on ELIF’s imprint Marginalia, Midele has seen his sounds supported by artists like Fedele, Juan Hansen, and Losless. Having shared the booth with a diverse range of talent—including Olympe, Christian Nielsen, Baime, and Fat Cosmoe—he has become a vital part of the local scene moving from Melodic Techno productions to Psy Trance and Hardgroove sets as time pass by.
Currently, Midele stays deeply embedded in the soul of club culture as the Night Manager at Copenhagen’s Hangaren. He is now gearing up for his debut performance on April 24th, 2026, where he will be opening the floor for Kauffman.
Technical roots, a cinematic ear, and a heartbeat driven by the dancefloor—Midele is constantly evolving, always free, and always ready to experiment.
