MerxRey

Mercedes Almarcha (performing arts/contemporary dance) and Rey Fernández (musician/graphic misfit) form this peculiar sound tandem, which moves between very marked electronic rhythmic and metric bases in a common thread where dance, urban, Latin, exotic and a personal rhythmic accent acquired from post-punk, from the most avant-garde and experimental electronica, go hand in hand. DIY and industrial.

Open to multiple ranges of possibilities, they look both in the present and in the darkest and most forgotten corners of the industry for themes to fit into their sets and make you dance and enjoy music in a very different way than usual.

Their background in musical formations gives them a unique perspective to build atmospheres and connect with the public. They have been part of projects such as Las Janes o Guantá (Seville), Pretty Fuck Luck, Webelos, LCDD or Electric Garden (Madrid), Lucro, Alvinas and DigitalAlvinas (Aracena), among others.
