MENÏ is a DJ duo made up of two best friends who have been inseparable since childhood, brought together by a shared passion for electronic music, underground culture and the energy of a dance floor. What started as a love for music and playing together has grown into a project with a clear ambition: to build something of their own and take their sound to bigger crowds, bigger stages and eventually the European scene.

Their sound moves across underground electro, groovy minimal and tech, with the ability to push into harder, driving sounds when the moment calls for it. Their sets are energetic, groove-focused and built around creating an atmosphere that keeps people moving, while maintaining a strong underground edge.

MENÏ have been steadily making their mark across the New Zealand electronic, house and minimal tech scene, playing regularly in Auckland as well as on Waiheke Island. Their growing list of appearances includes a set at Brickworks in Auckland, as well as opening for Little Fritter, giving them the opportunity to share the booth with established artists and connect with new audiences.

Their momentum continues with a number of exciting performances on the horizon. MENÏ will be playing at Silent Studios in Auckland, opening for legendary house and techno artist Steve Bug, as well as making an appearance at Sundance Waiheke Music Festival over New Year’s. These opportunities mark an exciting next chapter for the duo as they continue to expand their presence across the New Zealand scene.

For MENÏ, DJing is about more than simply playing. It’s about reading a room, building energy and creating moments that people remember. Their close friendship is at the heart of the project, giving them a natural chemistry behind the decks and a shared vision for where they want to take their sound.

With a growing catalogue of performances, an expanding audience and their sights firmly set on the future, MENÏ are building towards a career that takes them beyond New Zealand. Their goal is to bring their sound to new cities, new crowds and eventually some of the most respected underground venues and festivals across Europe — continuing to grow while staying true to the sound and energy that started it all.
