Melcat

MELCAT is a Peruvian DJ whose proposal was born from an early connection with electronic music. Their sound transitions between House, Deep Tech, Tech House and UK Garage, with a marked influence of groove, forceful bass, percussion and funk elements.

Their identity is built from a carefully curated musical selection and progressively developed sets, adapted to the moment of the night. The selection of each track plays a fundamental role in his proposal, seeking to build a narrative that evolves naturally throughout each presentation.

He is currently resident DJ of Why Not Stay, one of the collectives with the greatest presence in the local scene, recognized for promoting national talent and connecting the Peruvian scene with international artists. As part of his career, he has shared the booth with artists such as Seba Rodríguez (UY), Nicola Gavino (IT), Lulo (UY), Ammo Avenue (PE), Lightleak (US), among others.

With a vision focused on building its own identity, MELCAT seeks to consolidate itself as a representative proposal of the new generation of Peruvian DJs, expand its music to new stages and develop its facet as a producer. His goal in each set is clear: to generate energy on the dance floor and make the audience discover music they didn't know they wanted to hear that night.
