MAUFONK

Maximiliano Sánchez, artistically known as MAUFONK, is an Argentine DJ and producer with more than 15 years of connection with electronic music. His story begins at a very young age, growing up in the event environment thanks to his father, a producer, who took him to witness live DJ performances. His first contact with electronic culture came through CD compilations from the legendary club Amnesia Ibiza, which awakened an early vocation that led him to start DJing at the age of 12 at local events and radios. Influenced by international references such as Carl Cox, Tiësto, Roger Sanchez, Bob Sinclar and Fedde Le Grand, he developed a solid approach oriented to groove, track energy and melodies. Parallel to his growth as a DJ, he trained in live sound, lighting and event production in the city of Buenos Aires, always remaining linked to the world of entertainment. In 2022 he launched his artistic project MAUFONK, marking the beginning of a new stage focused on music production and the construction of his own sound within House and Tech House. His music quickly began to receive support from local and international artists. Its growth is consolidated in 2025 when it won the remix contest of the track Trama, by Closed I and Victoria Whynot. The official remix was released in 2026 by Xelima Records, managing to position itself in Spotify playlists such as Electrónica Argentina by Bombo Community and (AR) by Spotify Argentina. Currently, it is in a stage of expansion, with the aim of positioning itself on the local and international scene, taking its sound to clubs and festivals, consolidating its presence in the booth with sets that prioritize the real connection with the public and the culture of the DJ.
