Mashvigour

With over 10 years of experience, Mashvigour is a versatile and creative DJ known for his ability to read the room and adapt to any timeslot. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, he has played at renowned establishments like Slender's Lifestyle, Danny's Pub, Mafahla Inn, Montecasino(Cantare) , and Louis Cafe.

Mashvigour's passion for music began in GA Maila Mapitsane village, where he started playing at weddings, parties, and unveilings at a young age. Inspired by legends like Black Coffee and DJ Shimza, he was encouraged by his brothers Thabiso (RIP) and Philip, as well as his mother (RIP), to pursue his dreams.

A turning point came in 2017 when Mashvigour invested in his own sound equipment and registered a company, hosting his own events in support of his friend Mandla. Further motivated by his wife Nteseng and friend Clifford & Berry, he transitioned from DJ Abza to Mashvigour and attended DJ DINO BRAVO's classes to master CDJs and build confidence.

Mashvigour's journey includes residencies at Mokete's Kings car wash, Chuffy's car wash, and currently Mafahla Inn. He believes in introducing new music to his audience, often collaborating with trusted producers to bring fresh sounds to the floor. This talented DJ is recognized for his creativity and versatility, making him a popular choice among promoters.
