Marquinhos

In parallel to his activity as a DJ, Marquinhos has developed Darkoteca as a platform focused on electronic music and the generation of community. From this project he has participated in the organization and curatorship of different events, contributing to the development of independent proposals within the scene. Throughout his career, Darkoteca has developed a series of events and collaborations in different parts of Mexico, mainly in Hidalgo, State of Mexico and Mexico City, in addition to extending his activity to other cities such as Querétaro. The project has worked with local, national and international artists, building proposals that cover different aspects but always starting from house. His activity has also expanded towards the creation of sessions, collaborative projects and listening spaces, consolidating himself as a project in constant development.

Throughout his career he has participated in different events and spaces, performing in venues such as Mimi Disco, Rumores, Muli Bar and Prrts, as well as sharing a booth with different artists from the electronic scene.

His facet as a producer represents an extension of this exploration process. In 2026 he joined the Boogie Room catalog with the release of one of his tracks, giving continuity to an artistic project that is currently developed between music production, selection and the creation of experiences around electronic music.
