Marcello

Based in Marseille and currently spending a few months in Hanoi, Marcello is part of a new generation of DJs shaped by a fast-evolving trance and hard groove scene. His journey started in Lille during his engineering studies, when he became president of the school’s DJ association and curated several line-ups for student galas and events. He later performed in different bars in Lille and Marseille, joining local collectives and exploring sets ranging from solo to b2b formats, usually between one and three hours. His first influences come from electronic and dance music — especially DJ Snake — who shaped his early love for club sounds. But things shifted when he discovered a new, rawer and more emotional movement within trance, led by artists like Odymel, Funk Tribu, Marlon Hoffstadt and KI/KI. From there, Marcello shaped his current identity: club-focused, energetic, groovy and human. For him, DJing is about reading a room and creating a narrative — tension, release, connection. His time between France and Vietnam feeds his vision and gives his sets a unique blend of European structure and Asian energy.
