Mael 灯 is a Colombian artist who finds in music a way to transform emotions, experiences and thoughts into sounds. His musical proposal fuses melodic reggaeton, trap and alternative sounds, building an identity that transits between the energy of the urban and the intimacy of the emotional.

His music is born from the need to express what is often difficult to say out loud: love, desire, nostalgia, personal contradictions and experiences that leave a mark. Through enveloping melodies, close lyrics and an interpretation that seeks to convey honesty, Mael builds a sound universe in which personal experiences become stories with which others can identify.

Beyond musical genres, his artistic vision is based on authenticity, exploration and creative freedom. His sound takes elements of contemporary urban music and combines them with a melodic sensibility that allows him to experiment with different atmospheres, rhythms and interpretations. Each composition represents an opportunity to explore new facets of his identity and develop a musical language of his own.

The symbol 灯, associated with light and lamps in Japanese, is part of Mael's conceptual identity. It represents the light that remains even in moments of darkness: a metaphor for creativity, resistance and the ability to find meaning in lived experiences. This concept accompanies his vision as an artist and connects his musical proposal with an aesthetic that seeks to balance the urban, the minimalist and the symbolic.

For Mael, music is not limited to creating songs, but involves building a universe with its own identity, where sound, image and message complement each other. His project seeks to connect with a generation that finds in music a way to understand their emotions, express their individuality and give meaning to their experiences.

With a vision oriented towards artistic growth and constant evolution, Mael 灯 works on the development of a proposal that reflects who he is, where he comes from and where he wants to go. His purpose is to build a recognizable identity within the music scene, while preserving the freedom to experiment and the emotional honesty that give meaning to his work.
