Tenerife talent Luis Groove makes his debut on Hector Couto’s Roush imprint this February, with the ever-excellent Julien Sandre also stepping in on remix duties. With previous releases on the likes of Overall Music and his own Lowpitch Records, Spanish DJ / Producer Luis Groove has cemented himself as yet another stand out talent from the bubbling island of Tenerife over the past two decades. Following long standing residencies at Papagayo Beach Club, Keep On Dancing in Ibiza and GreenWorld Festival alongside Sankeys Ibiza and Club 7 Madrid, Luis Groove has become a name known to many, and this latest offering of stripped back cuts highlights exactly why the Spaniard has gained his previous plaudits across two excellent originals.

Day two sees the hugely anticipated return of Diynamic boss Solomun, inarguably one of the world’s hottest DJs and producers having scooped a multitude of awards. The big man has a sixth sense for bringing the party and will be getting the Sankeys basement jumping alongside fellow label mates H.O.S.H and David August. The legendary Cajmere will also be gracing the disco with his presence, after king-hitting dancefloors during two superb performances last year, during Radio 1’s Weekend in Ibiza recorded live at the club, and part two of the classic closing party in October. Adding a more percussive shade of house to the brew is Just Be (Bushwacka!) who delivers every time he plays, while U Wanna Escape’s Luis Groove and Alex Picone join the line-up alongside the highly touted Antonio Piacquadio, a regular at Sankeys Manchester and soon to be resident of Sankeys NY, which is set to open this summer.

The VIVa WaRRIORS Opening Party kicks off on 4th July with a supreme line-up that reaches into the depths of house and out to the far corners of techno. As well as Steve Lawler touching the turntables, Kevin Saunderson the techno legend will be showing Sankeys how it’s done Detroit style. Onur Ozer will be there to drop his fresh clean minimal beats, while Luis Groove charms his audience, fusing skill with elegance throughout his eclectic and versatile sets. Label regular, Darius Syrossian throws it into the deep end with his finely tuned house sound.. Sankeys Ibiza hasn’t seen these VIVa WaRRIORS coming..
