Lucca Short came to the decks from where he always should have: a genuine obsession with music. Based in Bogotá, with a year and a half moving through the city's venues, he has built a sonic identity that doesn't negotiate between two worlds — it inhabits both at once.
His sets move between two clear lines. The first is visceral — hard bounce, hard trance, hard groove — music that hits and pulls you under. The second is more seductive: minimal bass, minimal tech, indie dance, tech house — layers that wrap around you and don't let go. In both, the thread is the same: energy, sensuality, and an urgency you feel before you can name it.
Over the past year he has played venues and events including Salón Amador, Odem, Cocodrilo, Raíz Rituales, Radio Berlín, Ross Records and Ono Oculto, among others — building a presence and a voice within Bogotá's electronic scene.
He is currently working on his first original productions, bringing that same philosophy — movement, passion, the will to live — into the studio.
