Lotar

LOTAR is the musical alter ego of Lautaro Brenes, a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Buenos Aires. Originally created in 2002 as Mares de Xceso, the project evolved in 2025 into LOTAR. Influenced by classic rock and funk, it delivers an authentic analog sound, recorded with vintage instruments and equipment, with no emulation.

With four albums released (the latest as LOTAR), he has performed across Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, on diverse stages and at festivals such as Personal Fest and Quilmes Rock.

His style blends rock, funk, and soul into catchy songs with rich arrangements and meaningful, poetic lyrics. LOTAR reflects a strong artistic evolution and promotes diversity on stage. His live shows are high-energy, immersive experiences with a powerful connection to the audience.
