LEFRIX

LEFRIX is an 18 year old DJ and producer from the Netherlands, focused on trance, hard house and groove-driven electronic music. His sound sits somewhere between energy and emotion: powerful drums and basslines combined with euphoric melodies, warm synths and memorable moments that are made for the dancefloor. Although still early in his career, LEFRIX is already starting to make his mark. His music has received support from artists including Tiësto, KETTAMA, Paige Tomlinson, Lammer, Milion and IDEMI, with Tiësto supporting his music multiple times through his Prismatic show. With an upcoming release on Enhanced Music and more unreleased music in the works, he is continuously developing his own sound and taking the next steps as a producer.

As a DJ, LEFRIX has already played stages including Sunchasers Selects and Zomerfestival Denekamp. He is also the founder of Upstairs, his own event where he brings together multiple DJs for a night built around electronic music. Being involved in events from both sides of the booth has given him a strong interest in everything surrounding a show, from the music and atmosphere to the production and technical side behind it. That involvement goes beyond performing. LEFRIX spends a lot of time around events, meeting other artists, exchanging music and working together with DJs and producers on new tracks. For him, being part of the scene is just as important as standing behind the decks. His DJ sets are built with the same mindset as his productions. Instead of simply playing one track after another, LEFRIX wants a set to develop throughout the night. Energy, progression and emotion all play a role, with the goal of creating moments where the crowd feels completely involved. Whether it is through a euphoric breakdown, a heavy groove or a track people hear for the first time, he wants people to remember the feeling of the full set rather than just individual records.
