DØPAIR is the explosive hard techno duo made up of Kathy and Laura – inseparable both on stage and in life. Their relationship began in the winter of 2019 in the heart of Cologne’s underground scene and quickly became the foundation of their creative collaboration. Their tracks are high-energy and driving, laced with dark accents that amplify the intensity of their sound. Laura’s love for distorted basslines and pounding kicks meets Kathy’s instinct for hypnotic synths and deep, shadowy textures. Together, they create an atmosphere that is truly unique on the dancefloor – a love that pulses with raw power both on and off stage. This powerhouse duo has conquered nearly every renowned techno club in Cologne, carving out a solid place in the local scene. They’ve also shaken dancefloors across Germany with a series of heavy-hitting gigs that left lasting impressions. Their music isn’t just a reflection of their artistic vision – it’s a mirror of their relationship: intense, passionate, and uncompromising. Beyond their music career, Laura and Kathy are committed to increasing visibility and acceptance for queer artists within the techno scene.
