Making music today no longer depends on a big studio, but on having a clear identity and the desire to break it. Tenmae & Top LA represent that digitally native generation that sees no borders, but opportunities. At 17 years old, this Mexican duo has managed to merge two completely different vibes into a single musical force: Tenmae, bringing the rhythm and ease from Veracruz, and Top LA, injecting the style and vision from Tlaxcala. The project was born out of the sheer need to express oneself. At the age of 15, armed only with a microphone, a computer and their talent, they released their first single on YouTube. What for many would have been an experiment, for them became their first organic hit, quickly surpassing 3,000 plays and confirming that their music had a magnet for the public. Her musical proposal is a versatile journey that does not stagnate in a single genre. Tenma & Top navigate with equal dexterity the dense, dark rhythms of trap, the danceable flow of reggaeton, and the clubber energy of house. This ability to adapt, added to their fresh lyrics and their Hazlo Tú Mismo (DIY) aesthetic, places them on the radar as one of the most interesting emerging proposals of the urban youth genre in Mexico. Today, with the experience of having grown up in front of the screen and headphones, they continue to produce independently from their home studio. However, the target is no longer local. Tenmae & Top LA have their feet on the ground, but their sights set on the international stages. They are ready to export their sound from Mexico to the whole world.
