KURI

KURI is a Mexico City-based DJ exploring the intersections of bass music and contemporary club culture. His sound moves between UK Garage, dub, breaks, DnB, bass, and experimental electronic music, while remaining open to unexpected shifts in rhythm, tempo, and atmosphere.

Rather than being defined by a single genre, KURI approaches each set as a continuous narrative, using low-end, rhythm, and texture as its main elements. His selections can move from stripped-back and atmospheric passages into heavier, more physical moments, creating sets that feel dynamic without losing their sense of direction.

His trajectory includes performances at House of Vans Mexico City and Casa Neet, as well as appearances across Mexico City’s emerging electronic music scene. Through these spaces, KURI has continued developing a distinctive approach to DJing that connects different corners of underground club music while keeping the focus on movement, energy, and sound.
