Kelli T (Kelli Tomasik) s a UK house DJ and radio presenter whose sound is driven by groove, instinct and a genuine love of great music. A selector at heart, her sets move confidently through House, Jackin’ House, Garage, Deep House and Tech House, blending old-school influences with fresh underground sounds without being tied to one narrow genre.
For Kelli, the tune always comes before the trend. Her sets are built around finding music with character — rolling basslines, vocals, percussion, soul and those tunes that make a dancefloor react before anyone necessarily knows what they are hearing. Whether she is opening a room, playing a sun-soaked daytime set or moving into a tougher late-night sound, reading the crowd and allowing a set to develop naturally is central to the way she DJs.
That instinct has been sharpened through her weekly show on GLX Radio, where Kelli has spent the past year broadcasting two hours of house music every week. What began as another outlet for her love of DJing quickly became an important part of her identity as an artist. With more than 50 shows now behind her, radio has pushed her to constantly discover new music, build an extensive library of tunes and develop the confidence to move between different corners of house and garage while maintaining a recognisable sound of her own.
Alongside radio, Kelli has steadily built a live résumé across clubs, festivals and events. She has shared line-ups with and supported artists including Sandy Rivera, Groove Armada, Utah Saints, Judge Jules, Allister Whitehead, Brandon Block, Alex P, Billy Bunter and Sonny Wharton, alongside a growing network of DJs and promoters across the UK house scene.
Festival appearances have included Nozstock and Lakefest, where Kelli has returned for multiple years, alongside club bookings including Birmingham’s Club Colette, where she supported Cash Only.
Her DJing has also taken her to Ibiza, an island whose musical culture naturally connects with the way she likes to play. Recent appearances have included sets with Funk My Life, Itaca and Word of Mouth, giving her the opportunity to play everything from deeper daytime selections to more energetic house music in one of dance music’s most influential destinations.
Kelli’s musical identity has never been built around simply playing the biggest tune in the room. She is most interested in the search — discovering something new, finding an overlooked tune, hearing an unexpected vocal or bassline and knowing instantly that it belongs in one of her sets.
That enthusiasm for digging is what connects her radio shows and live performances. There is always another tune to find.
Her influences stretch across generations of house music, giving her an appreciation for the foundations of the scene while remaining completely engaged with what is happening now. Classic house, garage, soulful tunes, jackin’ grooves and modern underground production can all find their way into a Kelli T set, but the common thread is always groove, rhythm and movement.
That breadth also means no two sets need to sound identical. Rather than arriving with a completely rigid journey, Kelli likes to understand where she is playing, who she is playing to and what the room needs. A festival afternoon, intimate club, Ibiza terrace and peak-time dancefloor each call for something different — and that freedom is a huge part of what she enjoys about DJing.
Her relationship with music is now moving beyond DJing and into production, with Kelli developing original material in Ableton and beginning to translate the grooves, vocal ideas and musical concepts in her head into tunes of her own. It is a natural progression for someone whose connection with music has increasingly moved from simply playing it to wanting to understand how it is made.
What has developed over recent years is much bigger than a collection of bookings. Radio, festivals, clubs, Ibiza and now production have all become different parts of the same journey.
At the centre of it remains something very simple:
Kelli T loves finding great tunes and putting them in front of people.
Selector first. Music always.
