KATUN - (The Time of No Time)

The universe has cycles..... repetitive periods of time that start and end..... like day and night..... The Mayans discovered that our solar system has similar periods and that it moves in an ellipse that moves it away and closer to the center of the galaxy, they called it HUNAB-KU..... they discovered that this cycle has a period of 25,625 years, calling it the "Galactic Day" they divided it into 12,800 years for the day, in which we are closest to the light; that is, "Illuminated, and 12,800 years for the night, when we are in the shadow of the galaxy.......

Within that 25,625-year cycle, there are smaller cycles on a smaller scale; Within the major cycle there are 5 cycles of 5,125 years each, divided into similar to the cycles of a day on Earth, that is:

Galactic Dawn Galactic Half Day Galactic Evening Sunset that turns into Galactic Night Night that becomes Galactic Dawn

At the end of each of these 5,125-year cycles, the central sun of the galaxy will "HUNAB-KU" emits a very intense beam of light, illuminating the entire universe, making it to synchronize all the planets, stars and suns of the galaxy, being like a galactic heart that beats every 5,125 years.

Thus marking that luminous glow; as the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new one lasting 20 years..... The Mayans called these 20 years of radiance ""KATUN""" (The time of no time).......
