Kate G

Kate G is a vinyl-focused techno DJ with a background in classical music. Her sound is built around hypnotic hard groove and trippy techno, with a steady flow, clear structure, and deep atmosphere. Her sets are energetic yet controlled, designed as smooth musical journeys that keep the crowd engaged from start to finish.

She mainly performs vinyl-only showcases and remains open to hybrid formats when required by the setting. Kate G feels equally comfortable in intimate clubs, big clubs, and open-air festival environments, where she can adapt her energy while keeping a consistent sound and direction. Her clean mixing and strong sense of progression make her sets accessible both to dedicated techno audiences and to listeners discovering the genre for the first time.

A key part of Kate G's approach is her focus on storytelling and mood control throughout the set. Rather than relying on fast changes or peak moments alone, she builds tension gradually, allowing tracks to breathe and connect naturally. This approach helps create a strong emotional link between the music and the crowd, resulting in long, immersive moments on the dancefloor and a consistent flow that works well across different types of events.

Based in Odessa, she has played at respected underground platforms such asSVORA, Tsekh33, and Drevjeno in Prague, and curated more than five independent events under her own series Pure Pure. She is also a co-organizer of Lab of Groove, a series of parties in Prague focused on building an international network and supporting female artists. Her international experience includes underground festivals such as UfoBufo, with further activity planned across Portugal, Romania, and the Czech Republic.
